Introduction

Rushall is a village that historically has always been concerned with agriculture, farming and rural crafts. There is currently a mixed population of local workers and families, retired people and those who have moved to the village for a rural lifestyle but who work remotely or travel out of the village. The population of the village has remained relatively constant throughout the years at an average of 150 residents. Rushall remains a wonderful example of a thriving community and it is hoped that it remains so for many generations to come. In 2022 Rushall was received the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) award for the Best Kept Small Village and the Merit Award. The Merit Award was a recognition of Rushall's consistent track record in winning the best kept village.
